Investment module
The Veriport investment module enables investors to collect, assess, manage and report on ESG, impact and climate-related performance at fund, investee-company and site/country levels. It provides live investment reports with KPI dashboards, consolidates results across the portfolio, and aligns processes and disclosures to leading global standards.
What the module delivers
-
Live investment reports at fund, country/region and investee-company levels, including KPI dashboards and narrative disclosures
-
Lifecycle coverage from pipeline screening and due diligence through to investment management, monitoring, reporting and exit
-
Standards-aligned structure that organises requirements the way investment stakeholders such as boards, committees, investors/DFIs and regulators expect to see them
-
Aggregation that rolls up site/project/country and company-level metrics to portfolio and fund/portfolio level automatically
-
Audit-ready evidence with version history, document links and user permissions.
-
Customisation options for additional metrics, frameworks and report layouts where required
-
Compliance scorecards generated from mapped disclosure guidance, enabling exportable indices for specific standards
-
Performance monitoring and measurement that demonstrates progress towards achieving desired outcomes.
Alignment to standards and frameworks
The module organises investment processes and disclosures to align with:
-
IFC Performance Standards (PS1–PS8)
-
Equator Principles
-
UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
-
GIIN Operating Principles for Impact Management (OPIM)
-
UNDP SDG Impact Standards and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
-
IRIS+ Core Metrics sets
-
2X Challenge (gender lens)
-
African Development Bank Groups (AfDB) Integrated Safeguards (where applicable)
In addition to alignment, customers can request specific mapped disclosure guidance for each indicator of a chosen standard. This includes the addition of a compliance index that allows monitoring against that standard. Investment managers can then export compliance scorecards (indices) for each standard being tracked. This feature enables targeted compliance monitoring for specific standards as required.

The investment tool set
Within Veriport’s Investment Module, users can access a suite of integrated tools designed to meet investor and investee requirements with precision and confidence. These include:
-
Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP)
-
Business Integrity Action Plan (BIAP)
-
Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)
-
Business Integrity Management System (BIMS)
Workflow management
Each tool is built within Veriport’s workflow-driven environment, enabling users to assign responsibilities, track progress, and generate dynamic progress reports automatically. Every task, topic, and requirement can be monitored in real time, ensuring visibility across all stages of implementation.
Impact standards
These tools are underpinned by Veriport’s mapping of seven leading global investment and impact standards, including the IFC Performance Standards and the EIB Environmental and Social Standards. This allows users to confidently select the requirements that apply to their organisation or portfolio, knowing that every item aligns with the expectations of international investors and lenders.
Compliance framework
A built-in compliance framework accompanies each standard, allowing users to verify that key criteria are being met as they build out their systems and plans. The result is a consistent, auditable structure that simplifies alignment with complex regulatory and institutional requirements.
Guidance
At the heart of this approach is Veriport’s contextual guidance engine. Detailed guidance from each standard has been distilled into topic- and metric-level insights, accessible directly within each working area. This means users can view relevant requirements, examples, and references instantly - without leaving the space they are working in.
One central environment to manage, track and engage
Together, the ESAP, BIAP, ESMS, and BIMS tools transform what are often complex and disjointed processes into a cohesive, guided, and verifiable experience, giving investors and investees alike the confidence that every step taken is compliant, aligned, and impactful.
